Sincere thanks for the opportunity to serve as State Representative of the Illinois 29th District, and to work on your behalf.
This term has seen our state challenged by a continuing recession, job creation, limited state budget and revenue, along with other issues. I have embraced these tests with an optimistic and common sense attitude. Recognizing all of us must share in the sacrifice to move our state and communities forward, I voted to cut my legislative pay.
We consistently focus on improvements in education, after-school programs and funding, protecting healthcare patients’ rights , and safety in our neighborhoods.
